Hi! I’m Quinn…
I am an actor, singer, musician, director, writer, and artist based out of New York City! I am currently completing my BFA in musical theatre from Pace University, where I will graduate this coming May.
I was born and raised in San Jose, California, and I started singing basically as soon as I could talk. I grew up in a household that had a great appreciation for music. My mom would always sing around the house, and while I thankfully got my voice from her and not my dad, my dad passed on to me his love for music. I grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, and other iconic artists of the 70s and 80s, and always found myself very inspired and moved by music.
My parents always encouraged me to try as many things as I possibly could. I played seemingly every sport imaginable, took piano lessons, even had a (very brief) stint in martial arts, but sooner than later, I found myself on stage!
The more I performed growing up, the more I fell in love with it. I started off performing in my school’s production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. when I was just 6 years old and never looked back. I was lucky enough to have the most supportive theatre teachers and educators to help me foster the love I had for performing and encourage me to pursue it beyond high school. I never would have made it to New York if it weren’t for the tremendous community of artists and educators I got to work with and learn from back in California.
I’ve always loved to make people laugh, collaborate as part of a team, and really anything with music, so musical theatre became my first passion in performing arts. I also found similar joy and inspiration from watching movies and TV shows, or writing songs, and discovered that I am really drawn to anything that tells a story. I knew how powerful those art forms had been to me, and hope that something that I do or create will one day have a similar effect on somebody else.
When I am not performing, you will find me writing songs on my guitar, watching a truly ridiculous amount of baseball (Go Giants), or hanging out with friends. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me, and I hope you and I get the chance to create something cool together soon!
